Today we’d like to introduce you to Brianna Varner.
Hi Brianna, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My husband was transitioning out of the military when he came up with his idea of becoming a real estate agent. I was pregnant with my daughter at the time. I stood by to support him in his transition. My husband found an amazing brokerage, American Veteran Properties, we loved what they stand for. American Veteran Properties was created by Eric Lukkarinen with one thing in mind: teaching soldiers how to buy responsibily and how to build wealth. AVP agents are either military veterans or spouses. It wasn’t until he officially obtained his that I decided I wanted to do it to. Once I obtained my license, my husband and I decided we would be an unstoppable team called Team Varner. We love having the ability to help military families.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Real estate has its ups and downs. When home inspections don’t go the way we want it to go. One of the first homes I sold, our home inspection came back, we needed a new roof and HVAC system. Of course, with great negotiations, we were able to get the seller to pay for both being completed. This lead to a very happy buyer, which made me happy to know they found their perfect home.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next, you can tell us a bit more about your business?
We are a real estate team; we are both members of the Hinesville Board of Realtors. We strive to help the military community find affordable housing and teach them how to build wealth to better their future. We do help civilians, too. We can help anyone who wants to buy a home, sell their home, or looking to rent a home. American Veteran Properties offers property Management as well.
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
Success for us is seeing our clients happy at the end of each transaction. There is no place like home.
