Today we’d like to introduce you to Hadley Ware.
Hi Hadley, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My story begins with my love and passion for making others look great and a love of beauty in general. (Libra personality for sure!) I am a second generation (former) Cosmetologist of over 10+ years and a former consecutive high school class president. I worked in the acting and modeling industry for almost a decade with young adults and aspiring models and actors. During this time, I gained years of management experience. I thrive in production and love to add the “spice” that people need in their life- whether it was in their hair, an event or image and self-confidence. I opened Warehouse Events after life struck me with a few curveballs and I realized how short life can be- so without further hesitation I began chasing my next dream- my own Event business. I obtained my certification in Event Management and Design from the University of Georgia to show my dedication to the venture and then obtained the necessary documents to become an LLC. I acquired insurance for my company and really made sure to dedicate myself to growing a business that I can be proud of.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Surprisingly, the road so far during my time as a business owner has been smooth. I believe that my work ethic and determination has prepared me for the challenge of being a business owner. There are lots of late nights and early mornings, blood sweat and literal tears in the event industry but I could not have done it without my family and my faith. The right people have been placed in my path and it’s unbelievable how well my clients and I “jive” together- it’s like these women are my sisters sometimes. This sense of peace drives my passion and purpose within the industry.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
Warehouse Events is an event business with services ranging from event management, design and more. I service roughly a 70 mile radius from Statesboro, GA including over 10 counties. The most popular service I offer is wedding planning and management. I like to pride myself on pleasing my clients- I don’t have a certain style other than my management style. With other creatives, they often specialize in a certain type of style. For example a photographer may have a style in which they take and edit photos, same with makeup artists, videographers and the list goes on. I like to make sure my brides get their dream wedding- whether it be rustic, botanical or classic and traditional. I am easygoing and live to please others- the execution of their dream is my focus rather than making sure the style or flow of the day reflects my own. I am proud to say that my business is rated 5 stars on all platforms and that was a goal of mine- to have excellent reviews on my services and happy couples.
What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
The most important lesson I have learned during my journey as a business owner in this industry is the power of having good relationships with my customers and fellow wedding industry professionals. I was raised to know that your reputation is everything. As a wife, mother and now business owner I want to honor my family and uphold a great reputation in the industry and as an individual. With that being said, when I get a chance to connect with a future client from another person’s referral I am so overjoyed- that is the best compliment. On the flip side- I also make sure that I refer my very best DJ’s, rental companies, photographers and industry professionals.
