Hidden Gems: Meet Kevin Carder and Ronnie Distler of Squared Away Mobile Detailing

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kevin Carder and Ronnie Distler.

Hi Kevin and Ronnie, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
With our day-to-day free time in the Army, we would regularly toss-up ideas for businesses, ideas, etc.

That quickly lead to some serious discussion and research, and we discovered that cleaning cars can be turned into a very good business opportunity. We put our heads together and decided to take the leap and start cleaning cars for the community.

The community took interest quickly and that motivated us to move forward with this business. We learned very fast that there is another business in our category so we constantly strive to stand out among the rest.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
We have had good success so far but it is a handful juggling running a business and the active-duty Army life.

As you know, we’re big fans of Squared Away Mobile Detailing. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
We are a mobile detailing company owned and operated by soldiers stationed at Fort Stewart.

We clean, restore, and condition vehicles. We are best known for our interior cleanings, messes from kids, accidents, and more. We are an active duty army, we are mobile, we keep our customers up to date, and are as friendly as possible.

We are most proud of our up-and-coming merchandise for branding! Whatever your car needs are we can handle it!

Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
We have had very good luck in that we have dealt with the best customers and have had amazing support across all of our social media platforms.

This is a great story about two young soldiers who are doing “service “ not just to their country but to their community! I’m sure they’re proud to see the transformation of vehicles they clean and restore. Much luck to Squared Away
