Today we’d like to introduce you to Carole Mendoza.
Hi Carole, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My journey with Kapyderm began very organically. The company is based in Málaga, Spain and has been around for over 30 years, offering science-backed, plant-based solutions for skin and hair issues. What caught my attention wasn’t just the product line—it was the mission behind it: to truly improve people’s quality of life.
What really made it personal, though, is that my dear friend—who happens to be the U.S. CEO of Kapyderm— speaks mostly Spanish. I’m bilingual, and I saw an opportunity to help bridge the gap between this incredible company and the English-speaking market here in the U.S. I wanted to support her, but I also knew there were so many people—salon owners, dermatologists, spa professionals—who were looking for real answers to their clients’ hair and skin concerns, not just surface-level fixes.
That’s where I came in. I started learning more, attending trainings, translating materials, and connecting with professionals who were tired of guessing and ready to understand the science behind what they do. It wasn’t just about products—it was about education, empowerment, and long-term transformation.
Today, I’m proud to be part of the movement to expand Kapyderm’s presence in the U.S., especially among professionals who want to make a difference. It’s not about hype or trends—it’s about results, integrity, and care.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Definitely not a smooth road—but a meaningful one. Anytime you’re building something new—especially bringing a European company into a U.S. market with a totally different language and business culture—there are going to be challenges.
One of the biggest struggles has been awareness and education. Kapyderm isn’t just another skincare or haircare brand—it’s a dermotrictological solution rooted in science, plant-based ingredients, and over 30 years of proven results. But here in the U.S., that’s a new concept for a lot of professionals. People are used to instant fixes or flashy marketing, so shifting the mindset toward long-term transformation takes time, trust, and lots of one-on-one connection.
Another challenge has been time and capacity—balancing the passion to help this company grow with my own coaching and leadership business, while still staying aligned with what I believe God is calling me to do. But through every struggle, I’ve learned that when you lead with heart and integrity, the right people eventually find you. The road may not be smooth, but it continues to be worth it.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Kapyderm is a company that offers scientifically developed, plant-based treatments to address the root causes of skin and hair issues. We specialize in treating conditions like hair thinning, dandruff, scalp sensitivity, hormonal imbalances, and chronic skin concerns—not with cosmetic cover-ups, but with deep, restorative care.
What truly sets us apart is our work system. Every journey begins with an in-depth analysis using a high-definition camera specifically developed by Laboratorios Kapyderm to assess the skin or scalp. This isn’t guesswork—it’s a scientific, visual diagnosis. From there, every treatment is completely personalized. There’s no one-size-fits-all here. Each person receives a customized plan using both professional in-office treatments and at-home care that supports long-term results.
We’re not just selling products. We’re restoring confidence, improving quality of life, and giving hope to people who’ve struggled to find answers. And while we’re changing lives, we’re also helping businesses—salons, clinics, spas, dermatology offices—grow and expand their offerings through Kapyderm’s patented dermotricology system. It’s a powerful way for professionals to stand out and provide meaningful results for their clients.
As a leadership and business coach, I provide ongoing coaching and workshops to help professionals implement this system with confidence. That includes everything from mindset and client communication to creating new income streams and redefining their role as a true expert in their field. We’re not just transforming clients—we’re equipping professionals to rise.
In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
I believe the skin and hair care industry is headed for a major shift—from surface-level beauty to root-level healing. People are getting tired of temporary fixes. They want real answers, real results, and professionals they can trust. Over the next 5 to 10 years, I see a growing demand for holistic, science-backed solutions that look beyond symptoms and actually address what’s going on beneath the surface—internally, hormonally, and emotionally.
More professionals are going to realize that offering treatments isn’t enough—they need to offer transformation. That’s where Kapyderm leads the way. With our dermotricology system, we’re already ahead of the trend, combining scientific analysis with customized care that treats the whole person.
I also see coaching and education becoming a bigger part of the industry. It won’t just be about what you put on your client’s skin or scalp—it’ll be about how you show up as a business owner, how you build trust, and how you create sustainable growth. Professionals will need mentorship and guidance to make that shift, and I’m honored to be part of that.
Bottom line: the future belongs to those who are willing to go deeper, lead with integrity, and prioritize long-term healing over short-term results. That’s where we’re headed—and Kapyderm is already there.
