Inspiring Conversations with Jeanne Deloughery of Body & Sol

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jeanne Deloughery

Hi Jeanne, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
When I was a young girl and teen, I had a tumultuous relationship with my body. I struggled with my weight and used food for comfort to deal with the terminal illness of both my father and brother. My confidence was so low and I felt hopeless.
I’ll never forget the moment when I realized that my health was in my own hands. Learning about my body and cultivating the discipline to make profound change became my greatest source of empowerment.
This created a lifelong passion for movement, health, and fitness. I’ve been through many phases (some more fun than others…) but have landed on the belief that in order to live out your truest potential; caring for your health holistically has to be your foundation.
I now blend everything I’ve learned to help people care for not only their physical body, but also their mental, emotional, and spiritual health.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Like many teachers, healers, and coaches, my work stems from now being on the other side of my greatest struggles. I have been so disconnected from my body and ability to trust myself where I was totally paralyzed by indecision and anxious thoughts.
Everything I teach and help clients with are the same tools I’ve used to find clarity on my dreams, desires, and life purpose. I continue to evolve these strategies when old themes arise to help me get out of my head and into my body.

As you know, we’re big fans of Body & Sol. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
I am a Holistic Health & Somatic Embodiment Coach who helps intuitive, purpose-driven leaders stop overthinking and start moving—building the confidence, clarity, and discipline to follow through on big dreams. Whether you want to start a business of your own or simply feel like you can finally be yourself, my program takes you from hesitation and self-doubt, to feeling clear and fully confident in who you are.

When you start to feel present and connected with your body, you can trust yourself and your decisions. This leads to steady, grounded action. You stop people-pleasing, set strong boundaries, and take action without spiraling in guilt or hesitation. You finally feel confident enough to be seen—whether that’s sharing your work, making inspiring connections, or showing up fully for what you believe in.

I also help people create a movement and health routine that fuels them—not one based on forcing or pushing through, but one that helps them feel strong, energized, and deeply connected to themselves every day. This daily practice becomes the greatest teacher.

I am known for the depth of transformation my clients experience—not just feeling more confident but becoming the embodiment of their full strength and purpose. When you combine the energetics of somatic healing, intuitively releasing old stories and stuck emotions from the physical body, with real world structure & discipline – you become unstoppable.

I integrate my role as an Ashtanga Yoga teacher and practitioner with subtle somatic wisdom to help people truly learn the language of their body. Whether you take one of my classes at Ashtanga Yoga Savannah or find yourself on a 1:1 coaching call, you will leave feeling empowered, determined and deeply connected with your greatest sense of truth.

I offer 1:1 coaching and online somatic programs. You can learn more about the work I do on my podcast, Move with Sol. Also come hang out in person & take a Yoga class with me at Ashtanga Yoga Savannah!

How do you think about happiness?
Spending the morning with our community at Ashtanga Yoga Savannah! Whether I’m teaching or practicing alongside fellow students, witnessing them through their daily devotion, hard-work, and discipline, all in the name of being the best versions of themselves… its the most inspiring thing imaginable.

I’m lucky enough to get to do this everyday alongside my teacher, Taylor Hunt.

Also beautiful trees, birds, and taking walks in the sunshine! The Yoga community and local charm are the reasons I relocated to the Savannah.
