Today we’d like to introduce you to Bianca Kreba.
Hi Bianca, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
I began tattooing in 2012 after completing a traditional apprenticeship in Asheville, NC. I worked relentlessly to build a clientele and to continue to improve my craft. Over the years, I have done several conventions and guest spots and continue to push to be able to provide my clients with the best possible tattoo experience.
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Definitely not. At the time I began tattooing, there were not as many women in the industry. It was a hard industry to get into and very cutthroat. I had to learn and adapt really quickly, but I think it made me a better tattooer. Also, when I started, social media wasn’t really a part of our jobs, now it’s a huge part. That was a big thing to have to learn to use effectively for a lot of us.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I specialize in color tattoos that are bold and illustrative. I am most known for my girl faces and pin-ups, animals, and large florals. Recently, I have become very popular for doing rainbow freckle tattoos. I’d like to think what sets me apart is my attention to detail and ability to work with clients to give them a piece that is better that what they were hoping for. My biggest goal is to give people tattoos they will love, now and forever.
What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
Adaptability.
