Today we’d like to introduce you to FYPM.
FYPM, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I am a 21-year-old entrepreneur born in Lakewood, New Jersey but my family later moved to Atlanta when I was around 6. I have always been creative since I was younger but never really knew what I wanted to do.
I started off by doing video footage for our church Sunday services, then in middle school, a friend of my family showed me how to shoot with a DSLR camera and I fell in love. After that, all I wanted to do was photography and videography.
While growing up, I always saw my older brother making music with his friends and that exposed me to a lot of creative outlets. I started off by shooting music videos for my brother and his friends then later on for my friends in high school.
The summer after graduating high school I started my clothing brand “FYPM Clothing.”
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
My story/journey has been crazy and far from easy I have had challenges since I was a couple of months old.
It seems like I’ve always gone through challenges from personal problems, and car accidents to dislocating both my knees I have been through a lot and I am only 21 years old.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am the founder/CEO of the brand “FYPM Clothing” we are a luxury streetwear brand specializing in men’s & women’s fashion.
Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
My biggest advice for someone just starting out is to have a business plan before you start. You’ll get lost on this journey of success but if you have a business plan you can look back on it to get you on track.
