Meet Anamarie Cruz

Today we’d like to introduce you to Anamarie Cruz.

Hi Anamarie, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
In 2016, I decided to marry into the military. In 2018, the military took us to Fort Stewart GA. During those two years of marriage, I dedicated myself to supporting my husband and his career in the military. But I knew there was more for me than my husband’s career.

I wanted to grow a business, to create a brand. A business where I could help others but that at the same time I could keep it growing where ever the army would move us. That is when the real estate came to my mind. Real estate was everything that I was looking for. Now I am a licensed real estate agent with Keller Williams Coastal Area Partners in Georgia.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No, it hasn’t been a smooth road. One struggle was the constant tension that we were about to be moved by the army and I wasn’t been able to become a real estate agent yet and start my business and that meant I needed to start all over again in a new state.

Another struggle was not having the support of some family members and friends in the beginning when I decided to start my journey in real estate.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a real estate agent with Keller Williams Coastal Area Partners in Georgia.

As a little girl,l my dad didn’t have the resources to buy my family a house, so making people fall in love with their dream home is like making my childhood dream of having a house come true. My goal is to find every client their dream home. Seeing their reaction and happiness is an awesome feeling. Now that I have my own house, my other goal is to buy my mom her dream home.

I am most proud of using my knowledge, services, and languages with the Hispanic community. I, as a Hispanic, know how hard it is to live away from home. Nothing beats, making one of the biggest transactions of your life in your main language.

We love surprises, fun facts, and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
That I am a great cook and love to bake. That even though I come from Puerto Rico I don’t like the beach.
