Today we’d like to introduce you to Bronson Pascual.
Hi Bronson, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
So, I moved to Savannah area November 2021. I’m currently serving US Army as Musician at Fort Stewart with the 3rd Infantry Division Band. Outside of my military career, I’m international trumpet player and music educator. I’ve performed around world, from Las Vegas to France.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I think Covid was biggest struggle in my career because of the isolation and virtual school. I was finishing up my Master’s degree, and I had a huge burnout from school and trumpet. But with my career in the area, I’ve bounced back and grew my passion and love for music again.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a professional musician. Specifically, I play trumpet. I’m classical trained but can play all styles of music. Currently, I play in brass quintet, brass band, and concert band with the 3rd Infantry Division Band. Outside of the army band, I try to freelance around Savannah area. I’ve very active on social media but Instagram and Facebook. One think I’m most proud of is winning this job for the Army Bands. It’s really good to know that I won a job to play trumpet for a living. I think what sets me apart from other is that my passion and hard work. I worked my tale up growing, so I have the drive to do whatever it takes to get to the next level.
Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
I’m shy person and first but very friendly. I love helping people, especially the people I care about. I often put others over myself. Outside of music, I love to golf and cook.
