Hi Chris , so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
About 10 years ago I got into roofing on the production side. Then i went into logistics but never really felt like I belonged. I then moved to Maryland and started working on the sales side for a Top 500 remodeler and absolutely fell in love with it. After 4 Years my wife and I decided to move back to Georgia where I worked in sales for a local roofing company for almost two years. I wanted to bring more to the table then just roofing. I had installed windows, doors, siding and roofing in the past. So I started JC Exteriors in May of 2025. We are doing roofing, siding, windows, doors, decks etc. We are growing and excited to where the company is headed. The main inspiration I had is my dad who we lost in 2024. Family always comes first, and starting my own company has allowed me to be more constant in my kids life and allowed me to be a better husband,
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I was fortunate to start the company and be debt free. We are still debt free to this day. Because we have been debt free we do not take deposits and we do not collect any money until the job is completed, The struggles early own have been acting as everything in the company, (sales, project management, payroll, etc)

The biggest thing I could say to anyone is trust your gut. I had always talked about starting my own company and thought i needed everything to be perfect, well it will never be. Starting out i wish i had talked to more business owners, however sometimes sink or swim will bring out the best in you
