Today we’d like to introduce you to Daniel Scull.
Hi Daniel, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started my photography journey in 2017 on a trip to Mongolia. I didn’t own a camera at the time but I was inspired by one of my friends to start taking pictures with my iPhone and posting my travels to Instagram. Since then my love of photography has morphed into a passion for landscapes and lifestyle photography and I love working with brands and partnering with companies to use my unique style and expertise to shape their image and branding.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
There have definitely been obstacles along my photography journey. From new experiences like working with clients, to simply having gear break or malfunction mid shoot, there are always problems to overcome, but as a creative, I’ve learned to expect the unexpected and be prepared to adapt and overcome.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
My specialties are landscape and lifestyle photography. I’ve done portrait and product photography, but my passions are the outdoors and also shooting subjects in a natural aesthetic environment rather than a studio or strictly posed environmental. I put my style to work for brands of a wide variety and I also love shooting for and with models who share my creative eye.
