Today we’d like to introduce you to Emmie Jane White. Them and their team share their story with us below:
Emmie Jane is a joy bomb who loves to make people feel good about themselves. She is an actress, singer, model, and social media influencer. She started performing at 5 years old in dance recitals to get over her stage fright. It worked! She quickly realized that she had a passion for entertaining.
She began to sing in school talent shows, and perform in school musicals. Her older brother, Jordan Isaiah White (The Black Phone), was signed with a talent agency and after about a year, Emmie wanted to give it a try as well. She has been with her talent agency for a year and was recently signed with another.
She has been in a few music videos, a commercial for 50 Floor with Richard Karn (from Home Improvement), three short films, print for clothing and toy companies, and recently booked a lead in a faith-based film. Emmie is having fun and taking each day as it comes.
Her dream is to be in a Hallmark movie since she loves watching these with her mom at Christmas.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There are always struggles in this industry, but we don’t focus on them.
Emmie is learning that each audition is a win in itself, and to forget about them after. She is doing this because she genuinely loves to act. Every opportunity to do that is fun for her, no matter what it is.
We celebrate what makes her uniquely her, and know that the right roles will come along. We are enjoying the process.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Emmie is an old soul. Her maturity and ability to hold conversations with adults for hours on end have been helpful on set. She is genuinely a sweet-natured girl who is doing what she loves.
You will usually find her singing more than talking.
Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
Keep at it! If this is what you love to do, then do it! Don’t compare your journey to someone else’s. Your time to shine is coming.
