Today we’d like to introduce you to Melissa and Jill .
Melissa and Jill, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
We are two new moms that met on a Mommy Meet Up Facebook group local to our area. We hit it off right away with our love for the paranormal. We decided to take our passion further and create our podcast- ParaMOMal Activity Podcast. We released our first episode on April 9, 2021 and have been continuing to record and release new episodes.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Like most new ventures, we did encounter some struggles along the way of our journey. It was challenging at first to figure out our audience and what they wanted from us. There is also a lot of competition in the podcast world so we had to make ourselves as unique as possible in order to stand out from the rest. However, even in the midst of the challenges we’ve faced, we continue to do our best and engage with our listeners to provide them with the content they’d like to hear.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
We are two new moms that created a podcast focused on the paranormal. We release episodes that pertain to the most haunted cases as well as speaking with many professionals in the field, celebrity psychics, etc. Some of our episodes are more interview based where we speak with psychics and paranormal investigators, whereas others focus on chilling cases that we research to present all of the facts and details to our listeners.
We’re most proud of coming as far as we have and making our dreams a reality. We are unique in this field as we are two moms that also discuss parenting and the paranormal which isn’t something you come across very often.
Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
Our best piece of advice is to always believe in yourself and go after your dreams. Starting something new that may seem out of your comfort zone can be challenging at first, but we promise you it is so worth it. Do your research, ask for help, and get yourself a supportive group of friends that will be there with you every step of the way.
