Today we’d like to introduce you to Nic Divine
Hi Nic, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I’m definitely an interesting person going through an interesting Journey, and I honestly found my love for capturing happiness and expression at the age of 7.. then, I never knew what it was called but I knew that it was a way to show how I see things, especially since I’ve always been a quiet and observant person. I’ve always wanted to say more and hold more interesting conversations like my peers but as I grew older I accepted the fact that I wasn’t like my peers, and I’m ok with that now. As a young adult I had to learn to be confident about myself and helping others feel confident about themselves through my photography also builds confidence in myself and my ability to capture and create the art that I desire to achieve.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely has not been a smooth road, and the struggles never really stop to be honest. I say this because you have to work towards your goal everyday, it’s not a part time job and it’s way more than a hobby. For instance I struggle with complacency lol and I have to remind myself that, though I’ve accomplished my goal for today does not mean I don’t have to do be productive today. So building your brand is a constant process just as much as being successful. The hustle doesn’t stop.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
So I’m a up and coming photographer that specializes in wedding photography, food photography, fashion photography and my favorite boudoir photography. I’m known for my Boudoir photography, along with starting my brand and business, that’s what I’m most proud of. Honestly I don’t have the mental capacity to even think about what set me apart from other photographers because we all have something special that we capture through each lens for the world to see. I’ve met quite a few arts and photographers and we’ve all had the same passion with a different prospective and I love that about us.
Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
My favorite childhood memory would have to be going to Orlando Florida every year for spring break, and just growing up in the 80s and 90s boy what a time to be alive…. lol you just had to be there. I loved every bit of, omg take me back!
