Today we’d like to introduce you to Charles Roberson.
Hi Charles, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I have always had a deep desire to help people. While in college, I had a life-changing event, and through that life-changing event, I had a profound outlook on my purpose.
I realized my life purpose is in serving others and being a Pastor.
My story is also unique because I can use all my life experiences working in the education and government business. Furthermore, these experiences helped me to love, lead, and lift people. My objective is to always strive for excellence in leadership, focus, and service to others.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I wouldn’t say it’s been a smooth road, but it’s also important to mention that from my perspective, challenges are only opportunities to change course.
Over the last 33 years, I have had many challenges and even some opposition, but I have gained a lot of insight, information, and resilience.
The result of all the challenges is that through faith and hard work, focus, and finishing strong, even mountains can be moved, and giants can be slayed.
One of my favorite sayings is, “The bigger they are, the harder they fall.”
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Kingdom Life Christian Fellowship?
I serve as Senior Pastor at Kingdom Life Christian Fellowship, Inc., providing servant leadership to the congregation and the community. Kingdom Life is a rapidly growing ministry on the Southside of Savannah, known for its dedication to community impact, spiritual empowerment, transformational leadership, and holistic family development. Kingdom Life is a catalyst for changing lives and servicing the community. We often say Kingdom Life Cares because our true mission is to glorify God and care for this community. I also serve on many local boards and as a Police Chaplain for Savannah Police Department and Chatham County Police Department.
So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
I’m big on collaborating and exchanging ideas. If people want to help me, they can primarily help me by joining in my efforts to lift others up. We need to work in synergy instead of silo, and we can accomplish so much more together. I would love to exchange ideas and thoughts and combine our creativity to tackle some of our communities’ biggest problems.
