Hi Rebekah, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
For many years, I’ve been planning and organizing weddings and events for friends and family. Organization has always come naturally to me, and I’ve always found joy in helping others bring their visions together. While I had many interests, it wasn’t until I was asked to plan a friend’s wedding that everything fell into place.
She needed someone to coordinate the details and support her throughout the planning process—and that experience made it clear this is exactly what I’m meant to do. I love walking alongside brides, providing guidance, organization, and peace of mind as their dream day comes together.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Building a business isn’t instant—it comes with learning curves and growing pains. Starting slow gave me the opportunity to learn without overwhelm, gain confidence, and build a solid foundation one step at a time. Every stage has been part of the journey.

At VanArtsdalen Events, I provide wedding planning and coordination services designed to bring calm, clarity, and organization to the wedding planning process. I specialize in supporting couples from the early planning stages through wedding day execution, ensuring every detail is thoughtfully managed and nothing feels overwhelming.
I am known for my organized approach, attention to detail, and my ability to truly walk alongside my couples. I don’t just manage timelines and logistics—I become a steady presence throughout the process, helping brides feel supported, confident, and at peace as their vision comes together.
What I’m most proud of is the trust my couples place in me. Being invited into such a meaningful season of life and helping bring a dream day to reality is something I never take lightly. Watching a bride feel calm and present on her wedding day, knowing everything is handled, is the most rewarding part of my work.
What sets me apart is my heart for service and intentional support. I approach every wedding with care, clear communication, and a calm demeanor, allowing couples to truly enjoy their engagement and wedding day. As a wife, mother, and military spouse, I understand the importance of structure, adaptability, and grace under pressure—qualities I bring into every event I plan
What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
Listen & be clear about every detail. Communication is extremely important especially when you are a voice for someone else.
