Meet Tiffany Bradley of Tiffany Bradley Photography

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiffany Bradley.

Hi Tiffany, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I’ve always loved photography, and as cliché as it sounds, I really was the girl who always had a camera in her hand. Long before digital, I’d take the film camera my parents bought me in high school downtown and wander through the Savannah Historic District, photographing the architecture and quiet beauty around me. I even had one of those images developed and hanging in my home. A friend saw it, was impressed, and encouraged me to take photography more seriously. Not long after, she asked me to photograph her wedding, and that experience is what truly sparked my love for photographing people.

After the birth of my oldest son nearly 15 years ago, I felt a strong pull to deepen my skills and understanding of photography. I quickly fell in love with photographing babies and immersed myself in learning everything I could, from camera settings and lighting to posing and how to work gently and safely with newborns. That same year, I attended a photography workshop in Florida, and when I came home, I photographed anyone who would let me practice, including friends, family, and especially my husband and son. Those early years were filled with growth and a lot of pictures of my own family.

Like many creatives, I started out photographing everything: weddings, seniors, families, and babies, all while working full- time as a high school business teacher. Over time, it became clear that motherhood and family photography were where my heart truly lived. Then, in 2018, everything came to a sudden stop when I lost my dad unexpectedly. Grief, depression, and anxiety followed, and I made the difficult decision to close my business, fully believing that chapter of my life had ended.

Over the next couple of years, I focused on healing and allowing myself the time and space to grieve. During that season, I also discovered that an external hard drive containing countless personal photos, including images of my dad and my oldest son as a baby, had failed. Losing those images was devastating, but it also brought a powerful realization. The photos I still had were the ones I had printed. That moment fundamentally changed the way I viewed photography and legacy.

In 2020, I reopened my business, not exactly the easiest year to do so, but this time with renewed purpose. I became deeply committed to helping families preserve their memories in tangible, lasting ways. Over the next few years, I refined my service and experience, and in 2023, after the birth of my second son, I officially stepped into photography full-time. Following a long labor that ended in a C-section, I had an even deeper understanding of how overwhelming life can feel for new mothers, and that experience directly shaped the way I run my studio today.

Now, I operate as a full-service portrait studio, handling everything from planning and wardrobe guidance to coordinating hair and makeup, designing artwork, and even installing framed pieces in clients’ homes. My goal is to take things off my clients’ plates so they can simply show up and be present. I specialize in maternity, newborn, baby milestone, family, and heirloom children’s portraits, and as a mama of two, I know just how truly exhausting those early weeks with a new baby can be. My hope is that every mother who walks into my studio feels cared for, supported, and confident, knowing her memories are being preserved beautifully and intentionally.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
No, it hasn’t always been a smooth road, and there were moments when I truly believed this chapter of my life was over. As I mentioned before, after losing my dad unexpectedly, I closed my business and stepped away from photography entirely for two years. Grief changed everything, and at the time, I didn’t know if I had it in me to keep creating. Even so, photography never fully left me. It stayed in the background, quietly reminding me that this work mattered more than I had realized.

One of the ongoing challenges has been helping people understand the value in what I offer, especially in such a digital world. While I absolutely provide digital images, I’ve also seen firsthand how fragile they can be. Losing irreplaceable personal photos taught me that printed artwork is often what remains, what gets passed down, and what children and grandchildren eventually hold in their hands. Choosing to build a business around tangible, lasting pieces hasn’t always been the easiest path, but it’s one I believe in deeply.

Those struggles shaped the way I work today. They pushed me to build a business rooted in purpose rather than convenience, and to create an experience that prioritizes care, intention, and legacy over trends. Looking back, the road definitely hasn’t always been smooth, but it led me to a clearer sense of why I do this work and who I’m here to serve.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
My business is built around creating a thoughtful, full-service portrait experience for families, with a special focus on motherhood and the early years of childhood. I specialize in maternity, newborn, baby milestone, family, and heirloom children’s portraits, and I’m best known for a classic, timeless style and for helping families turn their images into tangible artwork they can live with and enjoy every day.

What truly sets my studio apart is the level of care and guidance I provide from start to finish. From the moment a client books, I handle the planning details that often feel overwhelming, including wardrobe guidance, coordinating hair and makeup, and styling each session. After the session, I sit down with families to walk through their images and help them choose artwork that fits their home and their life. My clients don’t have to figure it out on their own, and they don’t have to wonder what to do with their photos once the session is over. I even install framed artwork in clients’ homes, so the experience feels complete.

As a busy mom myself, I know how often we have the best intentions. We plan to print the photos, design the album, and get everything on the walls, but life gets full, and those to-do lists keep growing. That’s exactly why I’ve created the portrait experience I offer. By guiding families through every step and helping them make those decisions, their images don’t end up sitting on a hard drive or a phone waiting for “someday.” They’re finished, enjoyed, and preserved.

In a digital-first world, I’ve intentionally built my brand around the importance of printed artwork. While digital images are available and absolutely have their place, I believe photographs are meant to be seen and held, not lost on a phone or forgotten in a folder. My offerings are designed to help families preserve their memories in a way that lasts beyond trends and technology, creating pieces their children and grandchildren will one day inherit.

Brand-wise, I’m most proud of the experience I’ve created for mothers. I understand how full and overwhelming life can feel, especially during pregnancy and the early weeks with a newborn. My goal is to remove as much stress and decision-making as possible so families can simply show up, be present, and feel cared for.

What I want readers to know most is that this work goes far beyond taking beautiful pictures. It’s about legacy, intention, and creating something meaningful for families to hold onto long after this season has passed.

So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
There are several ways people can work with, collaborate with, or support my business. Families can work with me by booking maternity, newborn, baby milestone, family, or heirloom children’s portrait sessions through my website, where they’ll find detailed information about my full-service experience and what to expect. I work with a limited number of clients each month to ensure every family receives a high level of care and attention.

I also love collaborating with local and like-minded businesses that serve families and mothers, including boutiques, event venues, creatives, and brands that value quality, intention, and community. Whether it’s styled sessions, special events, or creative partnerships, I’m always open to collaborations that feel aligned and meaningful.

Supporting my business can be as simple as sharing my work, referring a friend, or following along on social media. Word-of-mouth has always been one of the biggest ways my business has grown, and I’m incredibly grateful for every client who trusts me with their memories and recommends me to others. At the heart of it all, my work is about connection, and every form of support, big or small, truly means the world to me.
