Today we’d like to introduce you to Kristina Owens.
Hi Kristina, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started as a real estate agent on a team that ended up having an opening for a transaction coordinator. I took over that role and transitioned to transaction coordination only. Eventually I had a sphere of influence for transaction coordination and agents referring me to other agents. My business very quickly grew from the good word of my agents! I now have two assistants and another TC on my team in training! I am so grateful that my agents have helped me grow and I always hope to do the same for them as well.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It’s been a lot of long days and nights. I work 24/7. I always tell my agents: if I’m not asleep, don’t be afraid to ask me for help! I had a baby 8 months ago and gall bladder surgery 3 months after that and worked while in the hospital both times. All of this prompted me to get assistants which helped me have more time for my family!
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I feel my job is hard to explain to those not in Real Estate. I always tell others I do “Real Estate Paperwork”. Really I am doing paperwork but I’m keeping my agents in compliance and often teaching them new things whether that be experienced agents or new. I communicate with all parties and make the real estate transaction smooth for all parties involved. I may be most known for my work ethic. I am always willing to help my agents, I don’t think I’ve ever said no, just because I didn’t want to. If I CAN help, I WILL help!
