Rising Stars: Meet Sosa Brown

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sosa Brown.

Hi Sosa, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
I started my adult life right out of high school focused on a career with the Air Force. Unfortunately, a month after I was sworn in, I became a victim of domestic violence.

I was unable to serve in the military due to the severity of my injuries. It impacted my life greatly, so I relocated to Georgia. Eventually, I attended Real Estate school and fell in love with everything I was taught.

On December 8, 2020, I received my Georgia Real Estate license and on July 6, 2022, I gained my South Carolina Real Estate license. I am currently a Realtor at Rawls Realty. And I am passionate about my career and I truly love what I do.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Honestly, no one said the road would be easy. As a mother of 6, I have learned to handle a lot that comes my way.

Balancing work and home life can be challenging, but prayer and faith get me through it all.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am a licensed Real Estate Agent in the state of Georgia and South Carolina. I am loyal and dependable. I love to get the job done the right way and in a timely manner.

What makes you happy?
My children make me happy because they are so kind-hearted and positive every day.
