The heart of our mission is to find the amazing souls that breathe life into our communities. In the recent weeks, we’ve had the privilege to connect with some incredible artists, creatives, entrepreneurs and rabble rousers and we can’t begin to express how impressed we are with the incredible group below.

Matthew Mayes

We built our operation much like the Grateful Dead did, centered around live shows and from the inside out. We had our own management and booking team in house, and started our own record label to release our music. It’s all still going. We release new music every 5-6 weeks on every major platform, and we still tour. We’ve been together for 35 years, played over 6000 shows, and sold millions of records, downloads, and streams. Custom Cake Studio is only in it’s 4th year of being a brick a mortar business but it roots started back in 2006 with two best friends wanting to make yummy cakes for friends and family. Fritz Rumpel

I grew up in Savannah in the 1950’s and 60’s. and left in 1973, only returning occasionally to visit my parents. I moved back in Savannah in 2004. Two years later my wife Lorrie said we should produce a play about the history of slavery in Savannah. Read more>>

The Dahlia: Honoring Vidalia’s Heritage Amanda Higgins transformed a historic railway storage building on SW Main Street in Vidalia, Georgia, into an event venue called The Dahlia. I came to law school later in life, working full time as a paralegal while attending Georgia State University College of Law part time in Atlanta.
